Nineteen of Medvedev's twenty-one championships have been earned on hard surfaces
A revitalized Medvedev won his maiden title for nearly 30 months with a win over opponent Moutet in the competition title decider.
Medvedev, a ex- number one, has had a torrid period, managing just a single victory at the major tournaments and experiencing a meltdown at the American major.
His varied form on the ATP Tour - and issues with his serving in particular - caused him exiting of the world's top 10 and ultimately splitting with long-time coach Cervara.
Presently working with his coach and Goetzke, the tennis star has consistently advanced in the recent weeks - peaking in a hard-fought three-set win over opponent Moutet.
This represents Medvedev's maiden trophy following the 2023 Rome Masters and initial on a hardcourt from March of the previous year.
The win also signifies he has won twenty-one championships at twenty-one distinct competitions.
"It's the first time I am participating in a event with my both daughters at once, so to win a title is especially meaningful," said tennis professional Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my second daughter my daughter, because the initial championship I got when my first daughter my daughter was delivered was for her."
Medvedev, the past champion, had lost his previous six title deciders, featuring in the German tournament earlier this year.
The player's defensive play style and frequent emotional displays on the tennis court had prompted observers to doubt if his skill to perform at the top level was over.
Yet the 29-year-old has implemented adjustments in the past month, attempting to advance forward and compete positively, backed up by an enhanced serve.
The champion fought back from a break down in the first set against the challenging Frenchman, securing four of the final five exchanges to gain the advantage.
The pair traded breaks in the second set before the Frenchman, bidding for his initial tour title, gained dominance to force a decider.
Moutet rescued 4 early opportunities in a close final set before the champion secured a break to fifteen to close out the victory.
Fittingly, Medvedev clinched the win with a shot at the net, with Moutet incapable to control a volley after a lengthy match.
